Course Description
Do you wonder which trees thrive in Utah's unique climate? Tired of seeing the same handful of tree varieties planted in every yard, park, and parking lot? In this engaging two-part class, we'll uncover a wide variety of terrific tree options perfect for Utah landscapes, whether for your home, business, or community space. In the first session, you'll learn in the classroom about the most resilient, beautiful, and underutilized trees suited for our region's challenging conditions. In the second session, we'll head outdoors for a guided walking tour of the University of Utah campus, where you'll see inspiring examples of these trees in action. By the end of this course, you'll have a fresh perspective and practical ideas for choosing the right trees for your next planting project.
