Course Description
Why do plants do what they do? Do all plants flower? What's that odd bump on the bark of your tree? If you find yourself asking these kinds of questions, this is the class for you! Designed for curious gardeners, this beginner-friendly course explores the basics of botany with a focus on what matters most for growing in Utah. You'll learn how plants grow, reproduce, and interact with their environment, and how this knowledge can help you better understand, choose, and care for the plants in your landscape.
