Course Description
Sculpt and carve your own intricate designs in wax, then transform them into stunning metal jewelry. Join us to learn the art of wax carving and silver casting--from building a wax model and tree, to creating investment molds, burning out the wax, and pouring molten metal into a pressurized flask. The result is richly detailed, three-dimensional designs that are truly unique. This ancient metalworking technique dates back over 6,000 years and is still used today to create some of the most magnificent jewelry in the world!
