Course Description

Explore one of Utah's great mysteries: the ancient Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan) villages of Hovenweep. Located in the Four Corners region of southeastern Utah, these villages were built and occupied between 500 AD and 1280 AD, at which time the 35,000 Ancient Puebloans residing in the four-corners region mysteriously and abruptly abandoned their villages. Join a local enthusiast to discuss the culture of the ancient people who called this area home and explore via photographs the amazing architectural remains of the incredible stone structures - most with multiple levels! - of the Hovenweep villages.
