Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
Membership in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is required to register for Osher classes. If you are unsure about your membership status, call us at 801-581-6461. If you are new to Osher, follow the Membership link at the right to learn more about membership.
Enhance your bird-watching skills by participating in six half-day field trips. Participants develop skills that allow them to classify and identify birds based on the general impression of size and shape, plumage, song, behavior, habitat and season. Participants should be willing to drive themselves. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a drink and snack. Binoculars and a note pad to record sightings are essential.

Class Sections For Bird Watching: Friday Field Trips! (OSHER 170)
Fall 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 09/13/2024
This class meets once a week for five weeks in various locations. Field trip locations will be provided to registered class members. Each field trip will last two to four hours depending on the trip. Binoculars required.
