This lecture addresses and clears up common misconceptions around hearing loss. The number one misconception: hearing aids (and cochlear implants) fix the loss. While hearing devices help, they do not restore hearing back to normal. There are gaps and limits. Let's talk about hearing loss, devices, and strategies to reduce communication breakdowns and frustration.
