This course will focus on the latest interests and current research by members of the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Utah. Our presenters will include: Dr. Jessica Kramer, Sweet and Sticky: The Amazing Science of Mucous; Dr. Hamid Ghandehari, Controlled Drug Delivery: The Right Place at the Right Time; Dr. Rob MacLeod, Your Heart is Not Artificial, But Should Your Intelligence Be? How AI is Impacting Cardiology; David Grainger, Biomedical Visualization, Dr. Christopher Johnson, Biomedical Visualization; and Dr. Allison Payne, Focusing Ultrasound on Improving Patients' Lives. These distinguished medial professors are all willing to answer questions regarding their work. They appreciate audience questions from Osher members!
