This Week in Science

This class is a bit hard to describe because it will be different every week! Every time we meet, we'll look at important developments in science and technology that have come to light in the very recent past. Because David is a biological scientist and Alan is a physical scientist, we could discuss anything from neutron stars to the bacteria in our intestines. The object is to help everyone understand 1) what happened, 2) why what happened is important, and 3) how the things that happened might affect our lives. No science background is necessary - just curiosity about what makes the world tick!
