KUED and The Great American Read Series Launch

Join KUED and the Salt Lake Film Society for the series launch of The Great American Read! Celebrate literacy and the art of storytelling with this exciting series. Do you have a book that you’re ready for someone else to read? Our public reception will have light refreshments and a book exchange. Meet local authors Stephen Trimble and Michelle Tago-Tu’itupou and get one of their new books for free if you bring a book for the exchange. RECEPTION: 5:30 - 6:30 PM, Location: Cedars of Lebanon Restaurant, 152 East 200 South, SLC. Series Premiere: 7 PM - 8:30 PM We will screen one of the episodes that will premiere later in September, along with some special, KUED produced featurettes about Utah authors Stephen Trimble and Michelle Tago-Tu’itupou. Beginning in September, six one-hour episodes examining a powerful theme in the 100, including Who Am I, Heroes, Villains and Monsters, What we Do for Love, and Other Worlds.
