Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

Anita Hill Presents at Tanner Lecture on Human Values

The Tanner Humanities Center at University of Utah has set aside 20 seats for Osher members to attend Brandeis University Professor Anita Hill's Tanner Lecture on Human Values. Her lecture "From Social Movement to Social Impact: Ending Sexual Harassment" will discuss Professor Hill's testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee prior to Clarence Thomas' Supreme Court nomination and her work on the Commission on Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality in the Workplace.
