Art Tours for Book Lovers at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts: "A Gentleman in Moscow"

Join Utah Museum of Fine Arts docents to explore themes found in Amor Towles' novel "A Gentleman in Moscow" via artwork in the Museum's global collection. In this virtual tour, you'll visit the luxurious Hotel Metropol where Count Rostov, a Russian aristocrat, is confined after the revolution: a situation not much different than what we face in the present pandemic. Count Rostov shows us how to master one's circumstances--not an easy task--and how to even find the pleasure and adventure in them.
