Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

Virtual Tour of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art

Lauren Rogers Museum of Art Director George Bassi* and Education Curator Hillary Steinwinder will lead participants through an illustrated history of Laurel, Mississippi -from its beginnings as a timber town to its evolution into "The City Beautiful" - followed by a virtual tour of the Museum's collections and galleries. *UPDATE - Due to a scheduling conflict, George Bassi is unavailable to attend. The tour will be lead by Hillary Steinwinder.
