In-Person Event: Springville Museum of Art - Spring Salon Tour

View the new, 98th Annual Spring Salon. From over 1,000 entries, jurors selected about 250 works for the Spring Salon, showcasing the finest technical and conceptual skills of many of Utah's best and brightest contemporary artists. During a 50-minute docent-guided tour, we will see the new works and view the permanent collection. The Springville Museum of Art is Utah's first art museum, dedicated as a "Sanctuary of Beauty and a Temple of Contemplation" by David O. McKay in 1937. Their impressive permanent collection of 150 years of Utah art, twentieth-century Soviet Realist art, and American art, shares space with juried shows of contemporary Utah art. With over 15 exhibitions annually, the Museum is a key promoter and contributor to the arts in Utah. Artwork is displayed throughout 29 galleries in this 45,000 square foot facility and a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden.
