Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

In-Person Event: Share Your "Osher Story" on Our New Podcast!

In celebration of our 20th Anniversary at the University of Utah, we've started an "Osher Stories" podcast. We are collecting recorded interviews with Osher members, instructors, and volunteers as they share their experiences and describe what this wonderful program has meant to them in their lives. Our goal is to share 20 years of stories with our membership and with people "age 50 or better" in the community who may be looking for something new at this stage of life. Your story will be recorded in the Marriott Library recording studio and edited for inclusion in the soon-to-be-launched "Osher Stories" podcast, to be featured in our weekly email newsletters and social media accounts. You will also receive a link to your recording to share your memories with family and friends. Tell us about how you first found out about Osher, friendships you have formed here, what your favorite classes and instructors have been, or any other perspectives you may want to share. Interviews will be scheduled in 15-minute increments. Join us to be part of this special Utah Osher 20th Anniversary project!
