Indigenous Healing Traditions: Wellness, Spirituality, and Connection

The word "shaman" is often used to describe individuals who carry ancient spiritual and healing traditions within their communities. For nearly 30 years, Jerry Buie and his husband, Bruce Frazier, have built meaningful relationships with indigenous healers, medicine people, and traditional elders from around the world, including the Andes and Amazon, regions of Peru, Mongolia, Africa, and native communities here in the United States. This is a unique, first time opportunity for Osher members to explore these spiritual practices in an accessible and thoughtful way. Please join us for what promises to be an inspiring and meaningful presentation.
