Special Event / Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Gilgal Sculpture Garden Tour

The ground tucked behind houses and businesses on Eighth East Street, below Fourth South Street, used to be a sunken vacant lot, covered with weeds. Now it is an outstanding, unique sculpture garden in the city. Gilgal Garden is the legacy of Thomas Child's drive to give physical form to his deeply held beliefs, expressed through the original sculptural arrangements and more than 70 engraved stones. It is the only identified Visionary Art Environment in Utah.

Please note, there will be a lot of walking and standing on flat ground with minimal places to sit.
