Marriott Library - 3D Printing

Learn about the fascinating new technology of 3D printing at the Marriott Library. This one-hour 3D printing and scanning demonstration covers the various types of 3D printing and scanning equipment available in the Library. You will receive an introduction to the workflow for using the printers followed by a demonstration of the Library's DIY 3D printers. We will cover the basic material types used in 3D printing, some requirements for 3D models, and if time allows, each participant will have an opportunity to interact with a printer hands-on.
