Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

Mountain West Hard Cider

Mountain West Hard Cider will be celebrating their second anniversary in November. Come to sample their Ruby, 7 Mile and Cottonwood and latest edition, Desolation. Mountain West Hard Cider is a proud member of Utah's Own and is the first urban cidery in Salt Lake City. Jennifer and Jeff Carleton recruited an award-winning wine and cider maker who uses a variety of locally soured apples to craft seasonal and artisan ciders. Mountain West products are available at Utah liquor stores, many bars and restaurants, and are available for purchase at the cidery. You will tour the production facility and enjoy a product tasting. There will be a $5 tasting fee payable in cash at time of event.
