Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

Adopt A Native Elder

The Adopt-A-Native-Elder Program exists to create a bridge of hope between Native Americans and other cultures. The Program supports over 500 traditional Elders who live in the cultural and spiritual traditions of the Dine’ People (as the Navajo refer to themselves) by providing food, simple medicines, clothing, fabric and yarn. These materials are funded by donations and distributed by hundreds of volunteers. Learn more about this award-winning organization and participate in a special project.
