The Human Resources Management program gives you the foundation needed for a successful career by providing the skills necessary for you to align human resource practices to any professional organization. The courses within the program are results-oriented and practical, with real-world examples and exercises. Human resources management topics covered in the program include employee recruitment and selection, total rewards, conflict resolution in the workplace, employment law, and more.

Students may also register for classes individually rather than the full program.

Class Details


Our classes are for everyone! You do not need to be a student of the University of Utah to take this program.

Individual Class Registration

  • Register for the 7 required classes at your own pace, over the course of one year.
  • Tuition is due at the beginning of each course.
  • Individual classes, and their upcoming dates and formats are listed below under Upcoming Classes. If a class has already been held, or states “Notify me” it will be held again during an upcoming semester.

Schedule: Classes are offered each semester during the following times:

  • 1-day classes: Weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm (with a lunch break)

Classes may be offered online, or in person and are synchronous. Attendance is required virtually or in person for the full duration of the class. Our live classes are not recorded.

Individual Class Registration:

  • Spring 2024: $2061.00 (7 required classes)

University of Utah Employee Discount Eligible

Financial aid is not available for this noncredit program. Students are encouraged to inquire with their employers to determine if tuition assistance is available

Requirements

This program is entry-level, with no prerequisites. Register for the program, then complete 7 required classes within 1 year with a grade of “Satisfactory” to successfully complete the program, and to earn the completion award and digital badge.
