Uncertainty is a part of every project and the ability to manage risk effectively can make the difference between success and failure. This course provides students with practical strategies for identifying and responding to project risks, along with an understanding of how risk management relates to both scope and resource management. You'll learn risk fundamentals, how to plan for and mitigate risk, how to communicate risk effectively to stakeholders, and the important ways risk management integrates will all elements of project planning. The learning objectives for this course include: 1) identify and categorize potential project risks; 2) develop structured risk management and communication plans; 3) implement stakeholder communication strategies for risk management; and 4) understand how risk management integrates with scope and resource management.
