Exploring Techniques in Watercolor
Lifelong Learning

Practice in-depth paint handling techniques in watercolor. Graded washes, washes for skies, layers, purposeful puddles, loose strokes, wiping out, plus explore a myriad of ways to soften edges. Whether you're drawn to tightly rendered details, loose and abstract strokes, or bold, expressive gestures, this class is designed to help you build confidence in creating your own unique watercolors. Through playful experimentation, guided exercises, and inspiration from classic and contemporary watercolor masters, you'll develop a deeper understanding of the medium and define your own artistic approach. Leave with the skills and confidence to create watercolors that are truly your own.
