In this introductory class, discover how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping our world, from entertainment to ethics, and learn how to harness AI for personal empowerment. You'll start with a brief history of and introduction to machine learning and how AI is already ingrained in society. From there, you will do a simple hands-on project utilizing how AI can make your life easier.

This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Students should know how to operate a computer, web browser, Microsoft Word and Excel or Google sheets and Docs, and must have either a gmail or utah.edu email.
