The Pin Project: Wireworking Metal Jewelry
Lifelong Learning

Who says pins have to be boring? Transform simple wire into beautiful, functional jewelry while learning several classic wire-working techniques. You'll create a variety of handcrafted pins, including the timeless penannular pin along with other decorative wire pin styles that are perfect for scarves, shawls, sweaters, hats, and more. Working in sterling silver and/or copper and brass, you'll discover how to form elegant curves, make balanced designs, forge, harden, and finish your pieces for strength and durability. These projects are satisfying to make, surprisingly versatile, and a great way to build your wire-forming skills while making unique jewelry that you'll actually use.
