Give your old tees new life as a stylish bag! We'll start by transforming the tees into continuous yarn, then crochet it into a functional crocheted bag. Perfect for beginners, this course covers the basics of making T-shirt yarn, simple crochet techniques, and tips for shaping and finishing your bag. No prior crochet experience needed. Spring 2026 Section 1, Starting on: 03/30/2026
This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Students should bring some old t-shirts, scissors, and measuring tape. Students provide some of their own materials; find the list online. We hate canceling classes, but sometimes there are forces outside of our control. Please keep this in mind as you purchase supplies and hang onto your receipts.
