Artful Accordions: Mixed Media Bookmaking

Join us to create your very own pocket-sized accordion book! You'll start with book board covers and cardstock pages. Then you'll dress up your book covers with mica windows filled with small treasures. We'll explore collage, decorative cut outs, coloring and mark-making with pens, inks, watercolor, charcoal and more! We'll discuss uses for the book, whether writing stories or creating art. Finally, you'll attach a leather cord to hold the book closed. You'll leave this class with a beautiful accordion book and the knowledge you need to make many more!
