The history of Salt Lake City can be weird, heartbreaking, and surprising. Join us to learn about the unseen history of our beautiful city by exploring the places and lives of everyday people at the turn of the last century. In this course, we'll focus on two neighborhoods that illustrate the economic and racial diversity of our city's past.

First class meets at Richmond Park (444 E 600 S, SLC) and involves standing with minimal walking. Second session takes place outdoors and involves mostly walking. The location for the second session will be given at the first class meeting. Students should bring their own water, wear comfortable shoes, and dress appropriately for a leisurely walk outdoors. Special fee is for printed material.
