Build your writing voice in this class as you learn specific techniques for shaping and informing your creative skills, including character, plot, point of view, description, dialogue, and setting. We'll read short selections of writing to see what techniques to beg, borrow, or steal. You'll experiment with writing exercises and read and discuss classmates' works. You'll practice seeing the world in new ways and then recreate that experience on the page.
