The objective of this course is to strengthen one’s personal capacity to reduce human suffering and improve the world by learning and then applying Microcredit methods to empower the poor. We will first gain an understanding of the current global context of suffering, conflicts, and other struggles. Innovative Microcredit methods and other tools such as Social Entrepreneurship will be studied for expanding family self-reliance in Latin America, Africa, Asia, and more. We will explore methods of change agentry and learn successful practices and strategies for empowering these who are marginalized, especially single mothers and children.
