UMOCA One-Day Workshop: Miniature Museums (Age 13-16)
Youth Education

Make tons of tiny things! Miniature food, art, and an itty-bitty gallery. We'll use paint, foam clay, and a variety of materials while talking about scale and how to use it! We'll use instant photography to capture our miniatures. Each participant will curate their museum, display their art, and take home a completed scene in 1:12 scale. Co-sponsored with Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.

Learning Objectives:
  • Develop hand dexterity and use art-making tools safely
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Elaborate on an imaginative idea
