Dungeons & Dragons has likely influenced every role-playing board game and video game you have ever played. Whether your character is a mighty paladin fighting a frost giant, or a clever rogue disabling an intricate trap, you'll become your character as you embark on an epic fantasy adventure together. The Dungeon Master first designs an adventure, then guides you and your friends through the journey, step-by-step, while narrating the unfolding story. The story may include everything from secret treasures guarded by flame-spouting dragons to feisty dwarves fending off hairy bugbears. This beginner's guide to gameplay-meets-storytelling, will show you why D&D is widely considered the most enduring and epic RPG of all-time. Co-sponsored with Game Night Games.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn the basic rules of D&D and how to navigate a game
  • Practice cooperating with other players during the course of the game
  • Learn how to create and use new fantasy characters
