Learning Outcomes:
In this camp students will advance their chess knowledge and experience through presentations and hands-on application of new opening positions and tactical ideas, tournament-length gameplay, game analysis, and, yes, students will have the opportunity to play against each other in a BLITZ tournament! This camp is geared towards students who have, at a minimum, an understanding of chess piece movement, basic mating patterns, and a LOVE for everything chess. Students will continue to grow in their mastery of chess and build upon these ideas and skills in a positive, supportive learning environment. Co-Sponsored with PowerChess.
