Stop Motion Animation: Movie Making (Age 8-10)

This camp introduces students to the fundamentals of animation and creative storytelling. Participants will write, produce, and direct a short stop-motion film using their own images, text, shapes, and set designs. They will learn how to plan scenes, create smooth frame-by-frame movement, and bring characters to life through careful animation techniques. Students will also record audio sound effects and import music to make their projects unique. By the end of the week, each student will have a completed short film to share with friends and family.
