Beginning Drawing for Watercolor with Light and Shade
Lifelong Learning

Join us for this intense and powerful drawing class. Drawing is the act of defining 3-D forms onto a 2-D surface. You'll learn a bounty of valuable skills including accurate measuring, building forms from basic geometric shapes, depicting perspective, and understanding gesture. You'll also learn about how to represent light and shade. Understanding values is crucial for depicting realistic form, which you'll do with the use of washes or graphite. The final Saturday is reserved for you to compile all the lessons you learned into studies and a final drawing ready to paint in watercolor but the lessons you'll learn are applicable across all media.
