Exploring the Cosmati Pavement of Westminster Abbey with Geometric Drawing
Lifelong Learning

As seen in the coronation of King Charles III in May 2023, the Cosmati pavement of Westminster Abbey is an elaborate example of 13th century craft work from Italy. Believe it or not, the intricate mosaic designs were created using just a ruler and compass. Join us and learn how to draw some of these beautiful patterns yourself, while soaking in the facts around their significant history and symbolism.
