Take a deep dive into the world of gin, a spirit with centuries of history and endless modern appeal. Derived from the Dutch word genever, meaning juniper, gin has evolved from its humble origins in the 13th century into a complex and versatile favorite. While juniper is the signature note, it's the masterful blend of botanicals, herbs, and essences that gives each gin its unique personality. In this course, explore both "old world" gins and exciting contemporary creations by local distillers. Discover the artistry behind the botanicals and flavor profiles that make gin the quintessential spirit of summer and beyond.
