Beginning Fly Fishing
Lifelong Learning

This class is a basic introduction to fly fishing with the goal of making your days on the water more enjoyable. You will learn proper techniques, gear, rigging, knots, bug identification and selection, and fly presentation. We'll also teach you different types of fly fishing, basic casting technique, river etiquette, how to read water, and how to safely handle and release fish. Join us and spend less time on the bank fumbling around and more time on the water catching fish.

Summer 2021 Section 1, Starting on: 05/19/2021

This class takes place in person. All in-person interactions require mask-wearing and 6 feet of physical distancing. Students purchase their own fishing license. See materials list online for a list of equipment to bring. Class is limited to 10.
