Course Description
Build your own Stratocaster-style guitar in just 5 weeks! In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to cut and shape the guitar body, perform fretwork, and assemble and solder electronics using a pre-made neck, body blank, and kit containing all necessary components. With expert guidance and a focus on shop safety, you will create your own custom guitar and gain a comprehensive understanding of guitar building. Basic woodworking skills recommended, but not required. Co-sponsored with MAKE Salt Lake.
