Course Description

Somatic movement is the use of gentle, safe movements to aid in managing chronic pain, improving balance, flexibility and posture, relieving day-to-day stress, increasing athletic performance, decreasing risk of injury, and shortening recovery time. Without stretching or force, learn how to restore comfort and flexibility with slow, natural, yawn-like movements that keep muscles functioning optimally. By the time we're done, you'll have a simple self-care routine that will gently release and realign your body. No experience necessary; this class is accessible for all ages and abilities.
