Let's Explore Sparkling Wine Around the World
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
This course is a deeper dive into wine than the beginning level class. We will explore the different methods of making sparkling wine and learn about the different regions around the world known for making it. We will have one week of classroom learning and the second week will be a tasting of sparkling wine from around the world. This will develop the palate by tasting different sparkling wines. We will also explore the many ways to further your wine education beyond this course. The course will consist of one 90-minute classroom lecture and one 90-minute wine tasting. The instructor is a Certified Sommelier (Level 3 Court of Master Sommeliers) with an Advanced Certificate in Wine from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

This class meets once a week for two weeks. The first week will meet in an Osher classroom and the second week will meet at Casot Wine Bar.
