A Practical Exploration of the World of Wine
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
Do you want to improve your knowledge of wine in a practical way? This course will briefly explore wine's amazing history and regions. We will also help you understand what exactly we are trying to accomplish when tasting; wine and food pairing basics; and how to order wine like a pro. We will even explore the many ways to further your wine education beyond this course. The course will consist of one 90-minute classroom lecture and one 90-minute wine tasting. The instructor is a Certified Sommelier (Level 3 Court of Master Sommeliers) with an Advanced Certificate in Wine from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
