Game Design: 3D Worlds (Age 12-14)
Youth Education

Run, jump and play in a 3D adventure video game of your own creation! Whether you are making the next Super Mario 64 or Fortnite, you will need to learn the game design fundamentals that made those games so much fun. Then get to work designing your own virtual world, set an objective, and explore everything you've built. Leave with a prototype that you can continue to develop and share with the world. Co-sponsored with Utah Division of Games.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Experience learning Unreal Engine software
  • Program essential game mechanics
  • Learn fundamentals of explorable world game development
  • Demo other students' projects to provide constructive feedback

Summer 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 07/01/2024

No camp Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th. Lunch provided daily. Reminder emails will be sent out before camp begins and will include location notes and other details.
