Outside the Lines: An Intro to Relief Printmaking (Age 12-17) (YEART 225)

Discover the exciting world of relief printmaking, one of the oldest and most versatile forms of mark-making and additioning! In this engaging and hands-on summer class, students will explore the vibrant art of color mixing and high-contrast designs while learning foundational techniques of relief printmaking. This camp combines fun and sustainable printmaking experimentation with a dose of art history, connecting students to the rich historical and contemporary roots of printmaking. They'll also discover alternative applications for their prints, such as greeting cards, cloth patches, collages, artist books, and more! Co-sponsored with Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.
