Freakonomics (Age 12-17) (YESCI 212)
In one of our most popular workshops students will study the modern market system with a hands-on approach and engage in a mini-market game of risk, chance, and profit as they captain businesses of their own in the battle for market supremacy! They will learn the basic mechanics of the stock market and develop an understanding of market forces, trading techniques, and the fundamentals of analysis. Finally, students will learn how they fit into the economic world and the power of their own decisions in the interconnected world of commerce.

- Understand the pitfalls around dealing with market forces
