Game Design: Wreckless Racers (Age 12-14) (YETEC 506)
Buckle up! It's time to learn the basics of making a furiously fast racer. Tune your vehicle to your own liking, then design a course full of obstacles, ramps, speed boosts, and even power ups. Whether you are making the next Forza or Mario Kart, take your project home and keep the creativity moving. Co-sponsored with Utah Division of Games.
Learning Outcomes:
- Experience learning Unreal Engine software
- Program essential game mechanics
- Learn fundamentals of racing game development
- Demo other students' projects to provide constructive feedback
