Dissection Inspection (Age 12-14)
Youth Education
Students will have the opportunity to engage their curiosity about animals while investigating the outer and inner workings of animals like earthworms, grasshoppers, crawfish and frogs. Participants should be interested and willing to dissect, under supervision, multiple specimens; a strong stomach and curious mind is a must for this fun, hands-on dissection class!
Learning Outcomes:
- Study the specific functions of organs
- Develop skills and coordination related to dissection
- Learn how biological systems interconnect
