Learning Outcomes:
- Learn automated farming mechanisms with redstone lamp indicators
- Create secret trap doors with passcode encrypted base
- Introduction to advanced flying machines
Grab your redstone and pickaxes, we are going deeper into Minecraft than ever before! Learn how real life engineering principles can be used in the digital world. Utilizing the all precious redstone, you will use hoppers, repeaters, observers and more to make complex machines that would make Steve and Alex proud. Lastly, you will participate in a variety of adventures from secrets traps and automated doors to creating a flying machine using pistons! Co-sponsored with Learning Through Robotics.

Summer 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 06/24/2024
This is an in-person camp. Bring your own laptop with Minecraft software (Java version) installed (if you have trouble installing, no worries, we will help). The software works on Windows and Mac (we do not use Chromebooks, iPads or iPhones in class). No prior experience necessary. More details will be emailed the week before camp starts.

Summer 2024 Section 2, Starting on: 07/01/2024
This is an accelerated course for the shorter holiday week. Students should have experience with Minecraft. No Camp Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th. Bring your own laptop with Minecraft software (Java version) installed (if you have trouble installing, no worries, we will help). The software works on Windows and Mac (we do not use Chromebooks, iPads or iPhones in class). No prior experience necessary.
