Developing Your Sketchbook Practice

Unlock your artistic potential and change the way you see the world with sketchbook journaling. We will explore journaling prompts, drawing prompts, experiment with a variety of media, and deepen mindfulness through reflection. This class will guide you to develop your sketching toolbox, overcome perfectionism, find your creative voice, and build an ongoing sketchbook practice. No prior art experience is required; everyone is welcome!

This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Students supply their own materials; find the list online. We hate canceling classes, but sometimes there are forces outside of our control. Please keep this in mind as you purchase supplies and hang onto your receipts.
