Welcome summer with us by celebrating the best season to make fresh fruit tarts! This class will teach you three fundamentals: making a pie crust from scratch and blind-baking it, whisking up a perfect custard, and building a raspberry-pistachio pie that's so beautiful, you'll be torn between admiring it and immediately devouring it.

Class Sections For Fruit Tart from Scratch (LLFW 654)

Summer 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 06/13/2024

This class takes place at the U of U Foods Lab (250 1850 E, Salt Lake City). Students will receive parking information and directions one week before class. Special fee is for kitchen rental, parking, and supplies. Please bring a rolling pin, a pie pan (9in or more), a small pot, a whisk, and a baking spatula.
