Strength Training: An Introduction

Strength and resistance training is a form of exercise requiring you to move an external load using your body's energy. This mode of exercise is proven to protect muscle and joint tissue, improve balance, preserve bone, promote hormone regulation, and improve mental clarity. Join a highly-experienced coach and learn how to safely and effectively resistance train at the gym or home. You'll leave with the confidence and knowledge to create your own personal resistance training plan.

Class Sections For Strength Training: An Introduction (LLREC 936)

Fall 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 09/28/2024

No Class October 19th. This class takes place at The Bouldering Project (660 S 400 W Suite 600, SLC). For each class, students are given access to the entire gym including fitness studio, climbing terrain, sauna and locker room facilities. Special fee is for space and equipment rental. Please wear comfortable clothes you can exercise in.
